You have been receiving a lot of reunion mailings asking you to mark your calendars, to consider a gift, and to encourage others to come back. Certainly the promise of seeing old friends at Skidmore tickles my memories and appreciation of those youthful days 50 years ago!
As class historian, I have yet another request for you. Please help create our Class of 1964 50th Reunion Book by submitting a page that reintroduces you. Many of us have lost our waists and allowed our gray hair to shine, but we remain vibrant individuals full of story and imagination. So, please tell us something about you.
My objective is to assemble an interesting, attractive book that includes as many of us as possible. To that end, the submission process is meant to be simple. Enclosed are instructions that will make my assembly job easier and your page tidier. They describe three ways to supply your information for the book: a web form, e-mail, and snail mail. They’ve been prepared carefully—please follow them carefully too.
In order to plan a good-looking book and to give you a visual aid to work with, I’ve prepared the design already. The preliminary text and pictures for my page illustrate how the information you provide will be presented.
We can’t give a full account of the last 50 years or where we are today on one page, so come to reunion (May 29–June 1) to share more stories! Meanwhile, the DEADLINE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BOOK IS MONDAY, JANUARY 20. Thanks in advance for joining the print effort! The book will be available to all classmates. If you have to miss reunion to attend a grandchild’s graduation or other milestone event, you will be able to get a book anyway. Be sure to send in your page info, so attendees won’t miss you all together.
Stay well. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
