Dear Classmates,
It's time to register for our 10 year reunion May 30 - June 2! By now you should have received the registration packet in the mail. Register today at www.skidmore.edu/reunion, or return the registration form. Registering for Reunion will allow you to return to campus to reconnect with classmates, faculty, staff, and other "Skiddies". Please register soon! Your reunion committee has worked to bring you a fun filled weekend at discounted prices. All you have to do is sign up for some or all of the events and come back ready to re-experience all that is Skidmore. Keep reading for events and slideshow details.
Highlights of the weekend start on Thursday:
● Thursday night: Young Alumni Informal Gathering, classes '98, '03, '08 7-9 pm at the Parting Glass
● Friday: Check out the new Hillside Apartments or the Zankel, Take a Mini College course, Golf, Explore North Woods, view the Alumni Art Exhibit
● Friday Night: Class of 2003 (Pub) Tour of Saratoga, 8-10 pm - Meet us at Bailey's
● Saturday: Parade of Classes, All College Picnic, Class Photo, Fun Day Throwback: refreshments, hanging out, & slide show
● Saturday Night: Celebration Dinner, Dancing, Music, & Fireworks
● Later Saturday Night: Informal gathering downtown
Reunions are a time to reminisce and reflect on how life has changed since we left campus. The Reunion Committee wants to know about your Skidmore memories so that we can compile a class history in images. If you have a photograph, newspaper clipping, or document that represents an event from our time on campus, please share it. The more submissions we get, the better we can represent the depth and diversity of our class's experience. While we definitely need images from Moorebid Balls, Junior  Rings, and graduation, we want to commemorate all that our class experienced. Help us by digging deep for photos of the senior art show, senior business majors spending Sunday nights in the library, concerts, and other milestones.
Do not fear procrastinators and technophobes, all you need to do is attach your images to an email and send to: classhistory03@gmail.com by May 1. Please include the year (calendar or class year) and the event represented in the file names of your images (1999_moving_in.jpg, SophomoreMoorebid.tiff, or 2003 Graduation.gif, for example). Please stick to non-proprietary file formats: your Reunion Committee has not budgeted for Photoshop, and some of us use Macs, so stick to GIF, JPG, and TIFF. Those sending BMP, PNG, or other formats, while still invited to participate in reunion, may be asked to sit in the corner. If you're looking for extra credit, remind your friends to send their images too. Your labors will be rewarded with a slideshow of our class history that will be made available to all members of the class of 2003. Start digging through those hard drives, photo albums, and boxes of memorabilia!
