Dear Class of 1991,
Welcome to your class web page. As you may have noticed, it now resides within Skidmore Connect, the secure alumni social network and online community, which we think is convenient. Wondering what your freshman roommate is up to these days? You can search for him or her by clicking the directory tab at the top of the page. When the listing comes up, you’ll have the option of shooting off an email to say hi and adding roomy to your friends list. To get started, you will need to activate your account.
 Reconnecting and staying in touch is especially important as we approach Reunion, June 2-5, 2011. Moving forward, this page will be your one-stop site for all things Reunion, including classmate gatherings, plans for the big weekend, and pre-Reunion updates from class officers.
You may have noticed the two icons on the top right of this page. They represent two options for sharing news, photos, and chat with classmates online.
Some of you may be already using Facebook and are comfortable with it; that's great. Please jump in and start posting!
But there is a similar online group venue that’s a bit more specific to Skidmore you may want to consider: the Skidmore Connect class group page (enter via “Class of 1991 on Skidmore Connect” icon at top right of page). There are several advantages to using this group: it’s ready to use, classmates are already preapproved members, and access is limited to Skidmore alumni and staff only. You can email, upload photos, post class notes, and start an online chat session. For more information, contact me at the email below.
