Join alumni, parents and friends for  an evening of conversation, fellowship and holiday cheer on Skidmore’s campus beginning with a reception at The Surrey Williamson Inn. Following the reception, the Skidmore College Orchestra will perform its 30th Anniversary Concert with a program featuring Verdi, Ives, Grieg, and Liszt at the Arthur Zankel Music Center.

We are also providing an opportunity to help in the Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts by bringing an item from the list below to the Surrey Williamson Inn before the concert that we will deliver to New York City.

 
Hurricane Sandy Donations - List of Needed Supplies:

For Infants and Children: Formula-ready to eat or with sterile water for mixing, diapers (all sizes), bottles, pacifiers, stuffed toys, kid activity bags, crayons coloring books, food for infants including, Pediasure

Emergency Supplies: Blankets, cups, plates, and plastic utensils, flashlight w/batteries, batteries

Sanitation: Toilet paper, towelettes, soap, liquid detergent, feminine supplies, personal hygiene items, plastic garbage bags, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitizers

Food: Canned goods: ready-to-eat canned meats, fruits, and vegetables with pop tops, trail mix, energy food bars, canned or boxed juices, Ensure and water


Directions:

From the Northway (Interstate 87), take exit 15 and proceed west on Route 50, toward Saratoga Springs.

Turn right onto East Avenue.

  • If you’re coming from the south (Albany), it will be your fourth traffic light.
  • If you’re coming from the north (Montreal), it will be your third traffic light.

At the top of the hill, turn right onto North Broadway, and continue to the Skidmore campus.

  • The Surrey Williamson Inn is located across from the main entrance to campus on your right. 
  • The Arthur Zankel Music Center is located on campus. At the first stop sign through the Main Entrance to campus turn left. The Zankel Music Center will be immediately to your right.
